Ameriplan has given me the lifestyle I've always wanted. I'm my own boss, I work when I want, I can put my family’s needs first, and I help others every day save money on their health care costs. But I sure paid my dues in the beginning.
My search began a long time ago… I mean a LONG time ago!! I have a 9-year-old son, and I began looking for ways to work from home when I was pregnant with him. Luckily, I have a sense of humor, and I can look back now and laugh at some of my own ideas, or get rich quick schemes, and home businesses that I tried. Let’s see… I tried stuffing envelopes, making jewelry, reading emails, doing surveys, selling candles, selling make-up, you name it!!
Great resource sites like JobsForMoms.com that offer scam-free work from home jobs were harder to find back then. All you could find online were scams and nothing worked for me. I even remember that one of my best friends and I decided to start our own gift basket business. That didn’t even get off the ground, so I won’t go into detail there.
But I never gave up. I could see myself doing something from home; I just couldn’t find the right idea. I knew that I wanted something that could not only provide a good income, but I also wanted to help people. I knew that if I could find that combination in an opportunity, I would be unstoppable. Nonetheless, I didn’t find it, so back to corporate America I went, after my son was born and maternity leave was over.
Eight years later, I became pregnant with my second son, and so the search began all over again. All of the same feelings had returned, and they were stronger than ever. I just couldn’t figure out why I couldn’t find something that would allow the flexibility that I needed, help others, and earn a great income. I was determined that I would find it this time around. I didn’t want to go through the pain, and guilt, of having a daycare raise my son, like I had to do the first time around.
Finally, one glorious day, a friend called to tell me about Ameriplan. At first it seemed too good to be true… I get paid for helping people? Wait, there has got to be a catch! The company provides all of the training and tools that I need to be successful? They actually invest in me? This is my own home business, so I get all of the tax benefits? Honestly, it seemed too good to be true, so I figured it was. I almost didn’t go to that conference call. But then, something told me that this was exactly what I was looking for, so what was wrong with just listening to some information. I was so impressed… I enrolled right away. I got to work from home and I got my first paycheck in a week.
I am now living the dream that I always wanted… to be my own boss, to put my family’s needs first, and I help others every day save money on their health care costs! I don’t have to ask my boss if I can leave work to take care of my sick child. I am home to cook dinner every night, and I am not so tired in the evenings, and I get to spend more time with my children. I am the one who puts band-aids on the boo boos, I get all the hugs throughout the day, and I get to be the one to pull the Cheerios out of my sons nose when he persistently keeps sticking them in there!! (This is the 1 year old, not the 9 year old!!) Ameriplan has been such a blessing, and I hope to help other moms (and dads!) who are looking for the same thing. Don’t give up! It just takes the right opportunity, at the right time to make your dreams come true. Even if this is the not the right work from home option for you, be sure that you do find the home-based career that IS right for you.
