Work-at-Home.org was established to benefit both employers and people who work at home for the purpose of advocating, informing and faciliating the "work at home" lifestyle. We believe that the work at home lifestyle offers a more balanced, stress-free way of living, a far more nurturing and healthy way to raise children, huge benefits to our environment, and is much more beneficial to our society as a whole for all of these reasons.
We believe in:
- The rights of families to nurture, teach, and raise their own children with love and wisdom despite an economy and society that has evolved to cause millions of children to spend the majority of their "quality time" with other people, often virtual strangers.
- The ability for anyone who wants to work at home to be able to do so without falling victim to work at home schemes.
- Supporting, educating and helping employers take full advantage of the many benefits of utilizing off-site labor
- Offering support and information to people who work at home and to those who are actively seeking a home-based career.
- Providing a forum for the exploration, discussion and dissemination of work at home issues.
- Informing and entertaining anyone interested in the topics represented at our website.
